Start Times available

9am – 5pm, 10am-6pm, 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm so your flexibility is required.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced high reach or counterbalance forklift operators to join a team of essential workers within our client.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all trailers are unloaded in a timely manner so that they meet their next scheduled departure.
  • Ensure all pallets & crates returns are stacked in the correct location
  • Responsible for the health and safety in the site area and to ensure that yourself all employees are compliant with HSE.
  • Ensuring the Material Handling Equipment (MHE) pre-starts checklist are completed with any follow-up actions on faults are reported as required.
  • Be flexible on start and finish, punctuality, and absenteeism matters.
  • Ensuring resource levels are aligned and managed to the activity and schedules.
  • Ensure all customer deliveries are picked, efficiently and that the customers are treated in a polite professional manner.
  • Maintain housekeeping: Ensure the warehouse and dock area is maintained in a tidy and organised manner throughout the day

To be successful, you will have:

  • Previous warehousing or logistics experience
  • FL Forklift ticket – Minimum 1 years experience (high reach or counterbalance)
  • Can do attitude and ability to lead a team by example
  • Strong core understanding of end to end warehousing
  • Exceptional work ethic
